In the 14th frame, Hendry cleared the colours from green to black to tie points score and then clinched the frame on a re-spotted black to stay alive... When Alex Higgins played his 2nd round match, it was standing room only during the whole match!

A tearful O'Sullivan said: "If I don't feel I'm going to be the best at something I am not going to do it." "It's not something that I've just thought about. I have felt the same way for two years." "I'm going to have a couple of days off to see where I'm going to go. The way I feel at the moment, I will quit." Let's hope that Ronnie comes back to his sense soon. What a loss for snooker if he really deside to quit! He made an incredible seven centuries in the final, which is a record in a professional match. He also became the first player ever to make five centuries in seven frames. And his twelve tons in the championship is a record for the number of tons by one player in a tournament.
