Murphy needed two snookers with pink and black remaining, but potted the pink from a snookered position, which cost him the frame. Murphy missed an essential pink off its spot to allow Bingham to reduce the deficit even further to only 3-4 behind. Another easy ball that Murphy missed with the rest gave Bingham a frame-clinching chance, which he converted into a 93 break. Second session: In frame 10, Bingham had an outrageous fluke on the blue while splitting the pack, that allowed him to build his winning 68 break. Amazing starting red from Murphy in the deciding frame. He later ran out of position but made a new great red later to start a title-winning break.
